PhD student wins award for obesity research

Laura Wilkinson, a PhD student in the School of Experimental Psychology, has won the Association for the Study of Obesity’s (ASO) Student Researcher 2011 Award.

Laura Wilkinson, a PhD student in the School of Experimental Psychology, has won the Association for the Study of Obesity’s (ASO) Student Researcher 2011 Award.

Applicants submit a peer-reviewed, published paper from the preceding year which investigated an aspect of obesity. The award is judged on the academic quality and excellence of the paper, the originality of the work and its potential impact on the research area.
