International Strategic Fund (ISF) awarded to CAMH researcher
20 February 2020
CAMH post-doctoral researcher Dr Hannah Sallis has been awarded funding from the University of Bristol’s International Strategic Fund (ISF). This funding scheme aims to support researchers in establishing or advancing sustainable international research partnerships with colleagues from around the world.
Hannah is a member of the Mental Health Intergenerational Transmission (MHINT) group; part of her research investigates the role of genetics in the association between mother and child health. These funds will enable her to strengthen links with existing collaborators, identify new cohorts with relevant genetic and mental health data, and develop future ideas and opportunities for collaboration. The ISF award will allow her to spend time with colleagues in Finland and Germany, working with cohorts including the POSEIDON study, to understand the scope of these datasets and plan future collaborations.
