Physical Storage

Where there is a requirement (legal or otherwise) to store physical records, the University has a contract with an external service provider to manage any storage needs securely and efficiently; please email print-services@bristol.ac.uk for more information. If required, records can be scanned and then stored

If you need advice and assistance on whether your records are suitable for offsite storage, whether records in storage should be retained or file cleansing queries, please contact data-protection@bristol.ac.uk.

If you have paper records that are more than 30 years old, the University would like to review these for possible inclusion into the University Archive. The University Archive documents and preserves the establishment and development of the institution's most significant functions and activities. Please contact special-collections@bristol.ac.uk for questions concerning the potential archival significance of records.
