Colour printing

Our print room is equipped with the latest digital colour copiers, capable of producing 100 A4 sheets a minute. We produce all types of work, ranging from departmental handouts, student dissertations and flyers to high-quality glossy brochures.

Black and white printing

Our high volume black and white digital copiers print 136 copies per minute. All our digital copiers are networked, allowing us to print direct from your file. We can also scan hardcopy documents. 

We offer a comprehensive range of in-house finishing services to give your document a professional look.


Choice of binding

Soft binding:

Heat sealed adhesive strip with acetate front and back with a University red spine, pages inserted and glued in.

Up to 300 sheets (minimum 10 sheets).

Comb binding:

Holes punched down the spine and a black plastic spiral comb. With acetate front and plain card back.

Up to 350 sheets (minimum 10 sheets).

Wire binding:

Holes punched down the spine and a black metal wire. With acetate front and plain card back.

Up to 250 sheets (minimum 10 sheets).

Hardback binding:

University specification bound in black with gold foil printed text on the front cover and spine. Spine width should not exceed 50mm. Please complete this hardback binding form (Office document, 110kB) giving your initials and surname (as it will appear on the spine), degree qualification and year of submission.

Up to 300 sheets per book.


Perfect binding:

Paperback-style book in A4 or A5 format. Pages are glued on the spine and placed into a printed cover. Suitable for large-volume print jobs.

From 30 up to 300 sheets.


We can laminate sheets from size A6 to A0, as well as bespoke sizes up to 900mm wide and of varying length. We use a durable 125mic gloss film that provides UV protection.
