Appearance Matters

It focuses on the psychosocial issues around appearance and the provision of appropriate supportive care for people affected by appearance concerns of any sort, including those as a result of a burn injury.

To be added to the CAR mailing list to receive details of the next conference and other events organised by the centre, please contact CAR at Centre for Appearance Research, UWE Frenchay, Coldharbour Lane, Bristol, BS16 1QY,

The Centre for Appearance Research has its own podcast, ‘Appearance Matters: The Podcast’ - This podcast explores the world of appearance; presenting new insights and advances in research, as well as perspectives from researchers, clinicians, charities and organisations, and individuals affected by appearance-related concerns.
