PolicyBristol goes University-wide

25 August 2016

Since 2013, PolicyBristol has worked to enhance the influence and impact of policy-relevant research undertaken at the University of Bristol. Formerly working within social sciences, PolicyBristol now offers support around policy engagement to University of Bristol researchers across all disciplines.

PolicyBristol is a key vehicle for strengthening our University’s research contribution to effective policy development and delivery in relation to contemporary social, political and economic challenges.

From Monday 1 August 2016, PolicyBristol has widened its remit to support the full breadth of policy-relevant research at the University; from health sciences to humanities, arts to engineering, and all research disciplines in between.

With a growing team and a new base within Research and Enterprise Development, we will continue to provide the high-quality support for policy engagement activities that we have developed over the past three years. Our website provides a flavour of what we have been doing under our former social science and law remit, and will be updated to reflect our wider role in due course.

We look forward to this exciting next stage, working with new colleagues and building on the University’s reputation for providing excellent policy-relevant research.
