Posting a blog on the PolicyBristol Hub at the time of the 2015 election was part of a strategic intervention to engender political and public support for the establishment of the UK Parliament's Women and Equality Committee. The blog helped create a wider public discussion of the issue and there was subsequently a Guardian Leader comment piece on the subject, citing the original blog.
