School of Physics pre-offer Visit Days are designed for applicants to come and find out how our School works and what it would be like to study with us. Applicants who are likely to be made an offer will normally be invited to one of these Visit Days. We hope that visiting us will provide an insight into student life here at the School of Physics, and will offer you an opportunity to talk to our current students and staff, including the Physics admissions team.
In 2013/14 pre-offer Visit Days take place on Thursdays throughout November, December, January, February and March.
Before you arrive for your Visit Day, please download the relevant brochure below.
The Interview Day is for selected applicants only, and you will receive notification if you have been invited to interview. The Interview Day will take place alongside the Visit Day on the 13th March.
Remaining dates for single honours Physics (UCAS codes: F303, F300, F3FM, F3F5, F305 and F304) are:

6th March 2014
13th March 2014
20th March 2014

*Please note that we are unable to provide lunch on these shorter days due to time constraints, so we would strongly advise that you find time to eat before you arrive at the School of Physics.
Visit Days fill quickly, so please book as soon as you can. There is a waiting list for each day. For help please contact the Physics Admissions Team

Why not come to a University Open Day? The School of Physics is open during these days with a full programme of guided tours, displays and talks. If you are visiting at other times you can download a self-guided walking tour app or mp3 to help you find your way around the university precinct.
Please note that although it is sometimes possible to show individual prospective students around the school, such visits must be arranged in advance, giving as much notice as possible. Please email Abi Stickland for more information.
