With more than 100 research and teaching staff, we provide an exciting and challenging learning environment. A typical week will involve a mixture of lectures, tutorials, self-directed study, project work, computing, and lab work that takes place in the £7 million suite of teaching laboratories dedicated to undergraduate study. It is an environment in which all school members thrive in discussion and collaborative problem-solving.
Almost half our graduates are offered jobs that utilise their knowledge of physics, while the rest go onto successful careers in professions including finance and law.
