The awards recognise ‘an individual or group of researchers who have undertaken and published an exceptional piece of research relating to general practice or primary care’.
Dr Ridd led the study, Patient-doctor continuity and diagnosis of cancer: electronic medical records study in general practice, the results of which were published in the British Journal of General Practice. The paper won in the Cancer Category. Dr Ridd is presenting the findings today at the RCGP Conference in Harrogate.
