Undergraduate admissions 2013

Press release issued: 15 August 2013

The University of Bristol received around 40,000 applications for the 4,631 undergraduate places available across the full range of subjects from this September.

Bristol remains one of the most popular universities in the UK among applicants, due to its international reputation for the high quality of its teaching and research.

Dr Roseanna Cross, Head of Undergraduate Admissions at the University, said: "We are delighted that so many candidates achieved the high grades required for admission to Bristol and also that we were able to increase the number of places available, enabling even more people who have achieved top A-level grades to study at Bristol. We look forward to welcoming all our students in September."
