New programme of University swimming lessons

A new programme of swimming lessons for both adults and children (aged five and over) wanting either to learn how to swim, gain confidence or improve their stroke begins from next month [Monday 20 April] at the University of Bristol swimming pool in Clifton.

A new programme of swimming lessons for both adults and children (aged five and over) wanting either to learn how to swim, gain confidence or improve their stroke begins from next month [Monday 20 April] at the University of Bristol swimming pool in Clifton. 

Classes for adults and children catering for all levels start from 20 April. Courses cost from £16. All lessons are 30 minutes long and taught by experienced Amateur Swimming Association instructors.

The summer programme of classes are as follows:

  • Four-week classes for adults (£20) and children (£16) start every Monday from 20 April.
  • Five-week classes for adults (£25) and children (£20) start every Tuesday from 21 April.
  • Six-week classes for adults (£30) start every Wednesday from 22 April.
  • Six-week classes for adults (£30) and children (£24) start every Saturday from 25 April.

The University swimming pool is on Queen’s Road, Clifton and is part of the University’s Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health.
