Over 2800 members of staff took part in the November 2007 travel survey. The Travel to Work Implementation Group will carry out further detailed analysis of these results and the individual comments made by staff.

The results show that since 2005 there has been an 8% decrease in the number of people who usually travel to work by car, down to 21% of respondents. The number of the people who walk (30%) and cycle (12%) to work has increased slightly, with motorcycle and train use remaining stable. The percentage of staff traveling to work by bus has decreased slightly to 7%.

The Group are very grateful to all those who responded to the survey. The winners of the prize draw are:
