E is for e-learning and Easter

5 March 2008

Staff are invited to attend a student-centred, e-learning Easter workshop on 16-17 April.

The Education Support Unit is running a student-centred Easter School focusing on e-learning that engages students as active collaborators and creators of learning materials. Such an approach aims to make the learning process more efficient; involve students more deeply in their learning; enhance their motivation; and develop their transferable skills.

The two-day programme includes sessions on student reflection; authoring; collaboration; and student-led assessment.

Staff may attend any number of sessions, and the course is free of charge.

For a full programme or for more information, please email ltss@bristol.ac.uk, or telephone 928 7151. Places can be booked via the Learning Technology Support Service website, or the Staff Development website.
