The third joint unions’ health and safety conference in March, which opened for the first time to departmental safety advisers, was a resounding success.
More than 60 union representatives and departmental safety advisers attended the event, which lasted all day, providing colleagues with an opportunity to network, exchange experiences and gain essential updates on new regulations.
Topics covered included the new Fire Regulations, hazardous waste and equipment disposal, accident investigation and stress management.
