Wolfson Award for Professor Cristianini

Professor Nello Cristianini, holder of the Chair in Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Engineering Mathematics and the Department of Computer Science, has received a Royal Society Wolfson Merit Award.

Professor Nello Cristianini, holder of the Chair in Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Engineering Mathematics and the Department of Computer Science, has received a Royal Society Wolfson Merit Award.

These awards are jointly funded by the Wolfson Foundation and the Office of Science and Technology. About 25 awards are made each year to respected scientists of outstanding achievement and potential.

Professor Cristianini is also co-author (with Matthew Hahn) of a new book, Introduction to Computational Genomics, published by Cambridge University Press.
