Widening access and improving life chances


The Chairman and founder of The Sutton Trust will be at Bristol University tomorrow [Wednesday, November 14] as part of the University's Celebration 2001.

The public lecture, entitled 'Widening access and improving life chances', by Dr Peter Lampl, takes place at 6 pm in the Wills Memorial Building, Queen's Road.

Dr Lampl will speak about the reasons for founding The Sutton Trust and how it aims to provide educational opportunities for young people from non-privileged backgrounds. He will also talk about the various initiatives the Trust is undertaking to achieve this aim, and how life chances for these young people are being improved.
