NHS Digital and MRC Researcher Roadshow

NHS Digital and the Medical Research Council (MRC) Regulatory Team are delighted to invite you to a unique Researcher Roadshow that will provide timely and salient information on key and emerging topics in the evolving data arena. Taking place this winter, the sessions are being developed with and for researchers.
- Data access - tips and hints on successful applications, timescales and improvements, to speed up and simplify researcher flows, including the 'Research Clarity Portal' and the wider work of the Research Advisory Group
- Data sets - information about flagship data sets available now, including HES, and new ones that are due to come online in the future
- Consent - current thinking around data protection legislation and research-specific considerations
- National Data Opt Out Programme - an update on the implementation of the national data opt-out, including what the opt-out is, when it applies and timings, again with a focus on considerations for researchers
