University Symphony Orchestra
Welcome to the Symph webpage
Conductors: John Pickard and Neal Farwell
The University Symphony Orchestra is an auditioned orchestra of about 100 players, open to students from the whole of the University.
We perform to a high standard - typically, players are around Grade 8 (or equivalent). We give four programmes a year and try to maintain a good balance between established classics of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, brand new works and lesser known pieces.
