David Crown is a vastly experienced singing teacher teaching at Bristol and Oxford Universities in addition to his private work. His singing career took him across the UK, US and Europe and he won several competitions. Concentrating mainly on oratorio and song he sang at many prestigious venues including the Wigmore Hall. He now focuses on teaching and choral conducting and is Director of Music at Somerville College, Oxford and conductor of the Oxford Singers (a group of the best singers from across the university) and the Wychwood Chorale. He is also in demand for choral masterclasses and guests for many choral societies. He gives vocal masterclasses around the country and is a frequent visitor to Chetham's School of Music in Manchester.
