Music Department appoints two new permanent members of staff

The Department of Music is delighted to welcome two new permanent full-time members of its staff.

Dr. Kate Guthrie is currently completing a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship here at Bristol. She was appointed to a permanent Lectureship last year and will take up the appointment on 1 September 2017. Kate's research interests lie in the social, political and cultural history of music in mid-twentieth century Britain. Read more about Kate and her work here:

Dr. Peter Scott, currently a part-time Teaching Fellow in the Department, has been appointed Senior Teaching Associate, a permanent full-time post. Peter specialises in teaching early music and music techniques, specifically transcription and editing and technical studies. Read more about Peter and his work here:
