Success for Bristol's Music Department in latest League Tables

[Posted on 26 May 2012]

For the second year running, the Guardian University Guide has named Bristol† the top UK University at which to study Music. Bristol was placed second in the overall rankings, with the specialist Conservatoire, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama taking first place.

This league table is of particular interest to current and prospective students, as it is the only major league table compiled solely on the basis of the institution's teaching profile.

The Independent's Complete University Guide 2013, which incorporates a 'Research Assessment' element, once again placed Bristol among the top three UK institutions offering a Music degree.
