Pro Tools LE workstations

Twelve iMacs, housed in the light and airy Computer Room, are equipped with Digidesign Pro Tools LE software and MBox 2 hardware. Other music software includes Bias Peak LE, TimeToy Pro, SoundHack, and a range of plugins. Sibelius 6 is available for music notation. Studio-grade monitoring is provided by AKG K271 Studio headphones, and each system has a MIDI keyboard.

These workstations are used for the first-year undergraduate Studio Composition unit, and are also available for general computing. The workstations are served by a fast in-house network, so that users can move freely between different machines.
