Studio 4

Studio 4 is equipped for high-quality multichannel monitoring, usually set up for octaphonic work but easily reconfigured for surround and stereo. Located in the Live Room, Studio 4 is also ideal for developing and rehearsing works that involve live performers, electronics and interactive systems.

In addition to the computer and software, Studio 4 has the following equipment:

• SPL Volume 8 multichannel volume controller
• Digidesign 003 Rack audio interface
• BEAST software tools for octaphonic composition
• GRM Tools Classic and ST
• Auralex acoustic treatments

• free-standing 'live station' with Yamaha 01V digital mixer and ancillary equipment ad lib.
