This section provides guidance on three aspects of your work in this department: essay writing, examinations and seminar presentations. It is not intended as a comprehensive guide, but should be adaptable to most teaching and learning situations you will encounter in the BA degree programmes in this department. In particular, these points of guidance will provide useful criteria against which you may assess for yourself the extent to which you are meting any specified learning outcomes in particular units.
