(Based on a joint work with Sy Friedman.)  We try to shed light on the non-trivial question of generalizing the random forcing for 2Κ, with κ uncountable. We answer a question posed by Shelah, asking whether one can construct a tree-like forcing adding new subsets of κ, which is simultaneously <κ-closed, κκ bounding and satisfies κ+-cc, for κ inaccessible. We further investigate some properties of this forcing, comparing it with Shelah's one for κ weakly compact.
