Entry requirements for the ASSL

The Arts & Social Sciences Library's opening hours are available.

Access will only be granted to visitors who can produce:

  • a current University of Bristol ID card or a current temporary University of Bristol ID card, or
  • a current University of Bristol Library ticket (as an External Library Borrower of any sort, including SCONUL Access; or a Reading and Reference card), or
  • a current SCONUL Access ID card plus a current home institution ID card.

During University of Bristol vacations [please note: not during any other institution’s vacations] access will additionally be granted, under the SCONUL Vacation Access scheme, to visitors who can produce a current UK/Republic of Ireland home institution student ID card.

All other intending visitors must make prior arrangements for access with Membership Services during office hours, Monday - Friday (email: lib-access@bristol.ac.uk, tel: 0117 928 8003).
