Borrowing limits and periods
How do I borrow and return items?
- Your student/ library card includes library membership and you will need it to borrow items
- Staff at the Issue Desk will stamp each item you borrow with its return date
- Books can be returned into the boxes near the library entrance

What are the loan periods?

Notes:
- loan periods subject to user card expiry date, recalls and existing waiting list when loan period reduces to 7 days
- material in heavy demand may be given a loan period of 7 days or 3 days. Information about the default loan period for any item is given on the date label inside its cover

What are the limits on items in the Short Loan Collection (SLC)?
Items in the SLC can be borrowed for either 24 hours or 3 hours.
