Confined materials
In the Arts & Social Sciences Library the following categories of material are confined to the library:
- new books on display
- reference books
- theses
- items from special collections
- current and recent unbound issues of journals displayed on the ground floor of the Library
- examination papers
- some duplicate copies of books marked with a red label
