Hilary Ollerenshaw

Hilary is the Faculty Librarian for the Faculties of Medical & Veterinary Sciences and Medicine & Dentistry.

Faculty Librarian responsibilities include:

In liaison with senior Faculty academic staff and managers, leading planning, development, provision and monitoring of library services and collections for the two medical Faculties
Representing the Library at Faculty committees
Leading and managing the Medical Subject Librarian team
Contributing to the development of strategy and policy relating to Library-wide resources and services

Academic liaison
Providing library induction to new staff and students
Teaching library and information skills to all levels of students, integrated with the Faculties' curricula
Managing library collections, and promoting new and existing library services and resources.
