Mike's role is Head of Information Management and Library Development.

Responsibilities

Member of the Library Management Team

Mike's main responsibilities are:

• To lead all major developments in the Library including:
  • Library IT systems
  • Library refurbishments

• To lead the Information Management group, covering:
  • acquisition of information resources, both print and electronic
  • binding and conservation services
  • cataloguing and other bibliographic services
  • electronic access to information resources
  • management of the closed access store

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Sports Science, 1986
• Diploma in Librarianship, 1987

Professional membership

• Member of the Chartered Institute of Information and Library Professionals (CILIP)
