Contacts and liaison

• Your subject contact is Emma Place, the Subject Librarian for Theology and Religious Studies.
• Feedback about library resources for theology and religious studies is welcomed by the Subject Librarian, or the departmental library contact, Carolyn Muessig.
• New academic staff are welcome to contact the Subject Librarian to arrange a session on how the Library can help you.

Subject resources

• Book purchase recommendations and suggestions for new journals or databases can be made direct to the Subject Librarian, though in the latter case it is best to also discuss the matter with the departmental library contact, Carolyn Muessig.
• The collections page details useful theology and religious studies collections in the libraries, and advice on using other university libraries and the British Library.

Course-based materials

• Recommended textbooks, or those in heavy demand can be transferred to the Short Loan Collection (SLC) where they can be loaned by students for up to 24 hours or three hours. You can use the library catalogue to find out if a particular book or journal article is held in the SLC.
• Notes for academic staff wishing to have an item transferred to the SLC.

Inter-library loan vouchers

• If you need an item which is not available anywhere in the library system here in print or online, you can use the Inter-library loans Service to obtain it from another library.  Inter-library loan vouchers from the School of Humanities.
