Inter-library loan vouchers
If you need an item which is not held anywhere in the library system here, either in print or online, you can use the Inter-library loans service to obtain it from another library. There is a charge for this service, although you may be able to obtain an Inter-library loan voucher/s to pay for an item/s from your Department, ask your tutor or staff in the main Psychology Reception Office. It is best to do this before you put in any request/s for ILL items.
Information literacy
- All new MSc and PhD psychology students have the opportunity to attend a library session, organised by the Department on 'literature searching and online sources of psychology information', at the beginning of the academic year.
- Further help with using online sources of psychology information and literature searching, or with any library resources may be obtained from Sue Chubb, the Subject Librarian for Psychology. The Subject Librarian is based on the 1st floor of the Arts and Social Sciences Library, on Fridays, please contact her if you wish to make an appointment.
