Inter-library loan vouchers

  • If you need an item which is not held anywhere in the library system here, you can use the Inter-library Loans Service at a cost of £8 per item. If you are a final year undergraduate student working on research projects you may be entitled to a voucher  to pay for an inter-library loan but you should first discuss the matter with your supervisor.  Once your supervisor has agreed that an inter-library loan is required, you can order your ILL via the relevant tab on the library catalogue.   You will be emailed when the item arrives.  You then need to see Wendy Brett in room 3.55 in the School of Law to obtain an inter-library loan voucher which you should bring along to the library when you collect your item.

Information literacy

  • New students receive training in finding legal materials in the first two weeks of the academic year.
  • Wills Memorial Library produces a number of printed guides covering many aspects of using the library to find legal materials. These can be found by the catalogue PCs in the ante-library or by asking a member of staff.
  • The Wills Memorial Library enquiry desk is staffed by librarians during term time for help and information about legal information resources. There is also an email enquiry service for users of the Wills library.
  • Students with additional support requirements can use AddLibS for help and advice.
