Contacts and liaison

• Your subject contact is the Subject Librarian for English, Damien McManus.
• Feedback about library collections and resources are welcomed by Damien and your departmental library contact, Dr Samantha Matthews.

Subject resources

• Book purchase recommendations can be made direct to the Subject Librarian, or to Dr Matthews.

• Suggestions for new journals or databases can be made direct to Damien, though it is best to also discuss the matter with Dr Matthews.
• The collections page gives details of the English related collections in the library.

Inter-library loan vouchers

• If you need an item which is not available anywhere in the library system here, you can use the Inter-library Loans Service to obtain it from another library. English Department staff can obtain inter-library loan voucher from the School Postgraduate and Research Administrator, Mrs Kay Russell, in the School of Humanities Office.

Library training

• Damien will be pleased to discuss your or your students' library training requirements.
• New members of staff will be offered an introduction to the library.
