Collections

Resources to support East Asian Studies can be found in the Arts and Social Sciences Library.  Use the Library catalogue to find the classmark for an item. Recommended textbooks that may be in high demand are kept in the Short Loan Collection (SLC).

If you need an item which is not available anywhere in the library system here in print or online, you can use the Inter-Library Loans service to obtain it from another library. There is a charge for this service, though you may be able to obtain an Inter-library loan voucher to pay for this. See the information for postgraduates or academic staff for details of how to obtain these vouchers. Access to other university libraries and the British Library may be a useful alternative.

New books

Thesis collection

Theses are kept in the thesis collection in the Arts and Social Sciences Library, in a restricted area on the first floor and may be consulted within the library.  Please ask at the Library enquiry or issue desk.
