Inter-library loan vouchers

  • If you need an item which is not held anywhere in the library system here in print or online, you can use the Inter-Library Loans Service to obtain it from another library. There is a charge for this service, though you may be able to obtain an Inter-library loan voucher to pay for this from the Chemistry Library.

Information literacy

  • The Subject Librarian for Chemistry gives a brief talk about the Chemistry Library and its services to new chemistry postgraduates in the Autumn Term.
  • Section 5 of the School of Chemistry's Graduate Handbook gives a useful summary of the main information resources available through the Library, and there are helpful handouts available at the Information display just inside the Chemistry Library (some of these can be downloaded from the Information for undergraduates page).
