Contacts and feedback

• For subject enquiries contact Medical Library Staff. The contacts section of the Library website details other contacts and enquiry points.
• Feedback about library resources for Anatomy is welcomed by the Medical Librarians team, the Library Representative for Anatomy or the Staff-Student Liaison Committee.
• Book purchase recommendations can be made to the Medical Librarians team. A suggestions box is also available in the Medical Library.

Subject resources

• The collections page details useful anatomy collections in the libraries, and advice on using other university libraries and the British Library.
• Anatomy quick reference tools, databases, reviews and bibliographies, and Internet links  pages are available.

Training and skills for finding and using information

The Medical Subject team run a programme of training in finding and using information by arrangement with your department.

• Develop your expertise in finding, evaluating and using information effectively and ethically with our video tutorials.
• A number of guides and video tutorials on searching databases are available. The Medical Librarian team are also able to give help and advice about individual databases and searching in general.
• Internet Medic - a free online 'teach yourself' tutorial from Intute on finding and using information on the Internet.

Inter-library loan vouchers

If you need an item which is not held anywhere in the library system here in print or online, you can use the Inter-library loans service to obtain it from another library, though you should check with your project supervisor first. There is a charge for this service, though you may be able to obtain an Inter-library loan voucher to pay for this from Anthea Moody in your departmental Office (Room G.30 Med Sch).
