Deep linking to a particular record in the Library Catalogue

Deep linking allows you to provide a link in a web page, or application such as Blackboard, to an individual book or journal record in the Library Catalogue. The syntax of the link to individual records on the catalogue is:

• Deep link to a book record, with ISBN: 9780156033183:
  https://www.lib.bris.ac.uk/F?func=find-c&ccl_term=ISBN=9780156033183
  
• Deep link to a journal record, with ISSN: 0140-6736 :
  https://www.lib.bris.ac.uk/F?func=find-c&ccl_term=ISSN=0140-6736

To find the ISBN for a book, or an ISSN for a journal, look at the Full View of Record for the item on the Library Catalogue. The Full View of Record is accessed by using the 'record number' link (found in the first column, headed '#') on the Results List page after you have searched the catalogue.
