Library Undergraduate Travel Bursaries Scheme

Funds are now available to help cover travel costs for Undergraduate students who wish to visit other libraries and/or archives in order to further their studies.
The scheme is for all taught students undertaking or about to undertake their final dissertations or projects. This therefore includes students in their penultimate year preparing in advance for their final year projects.

Applications for the grants are welcomed from students across all disciplines. Up to £250 will be available for successful candidates. You will need to complete a short application form and ask your tutor/supervisor to email it to us. If you are successful, you will also be asked to submit a short report after your visit, explaining how it was helpful for your studies.

Upcoming deadlines for applications are 5pm on:

  • Friday 16 November
  • Friday 14 December

Important note: On receipt of the application, students will receive an email acknowledgement. If you haven't received an acknowledgement of receipt after 5 working days of sending, we have not received your application so please be aware that it will not be considered for the current round of funding. Please contact us in case of query.
