Human Rights at Sea

The establishment of the independent maritime human rights charity, Human Rights at Sea in 2014 created to advocate, investigate and educate on the significant range of issues relating to abuses at sea which are often out of sight and therefore out of mind, has led to a partnership with the HRIC to undertake core research activities inline with the charity's objectives.

Core activities will focus on development of freely available maritime-focused educational materials based on student-led projects, drafting of maritime abuse case studies and development of innovative publications building on and adding to those already pioneered by Human Rights at Sea.

Students will work under the charity's Legal Research Programme overseen by HRIC and charity supervisors.
