Research

  • Accrediting Community Engagement: A Bristol Approach to Service-Learning (PI). 2018 - 2019, Bristol Institute for Learning and Teaching (BILT). An evaluative case study of the pedagogy and practise involved in accrediting student-led community engagement projects in the English Literature and Community Engagement programme. 

  • Productive Margins: Regulating for Engagement (Senior Research Associate). 2013 - 2018, ESRC/AHRC. Leading research strand on community researchers and community researcher training. 

  • Gender Based Violence and Displacement Project (Methodlogical Consultant). 2017-2019. School for Policy Studies. ESRC/AHRC 

  • Girls Making History (Co-I). 2013 - 2015, EPSRC. Lead co-produced research project working with young women and digital industry to explore how teenage intimate-partner violence might be affected by the co-design of new digital spaces.

  • PhD candidate in the Law School. Her research; Negotiating the Regulatory Terrain, The Role of the Third Sector in Developing & Delivering Parenting Intervention Programme’s in the UK is a co-produced project with the Race Equality Foundation and Single Parent Action Network.

Academic Teaching

  • Designs and delivers bespoke packages of research training for diverse audiences of community researchers across a wide range of community settings (2014 - onward).
