‘The university of Bristol immediately stood out for its excellent reputation and the variety of options offered in terms of tailoring the programme almost to each individual’s interests and goals.’  

Congratulations on winning Best Performance in the International Law and International Relations LLM Pathway. How do you feel to have received this prize? 

‘I guess that the reason for my surprise is that academic success has been one but never the main reason behind the choice to do a masters. I obviously put a lot of effort in my studies, but mostly out of deep fascination with the topics and the desire to know, argue, critique and understand more.’ 

Aside from this achievement, what has been your proudest moment since starting your course?  

 ‘Some of the skills this university has taught me are to think critically, to engage in conversations, to open up my mind to the possibility of changing ideas and to listen to other people’s arguments.’  

What inspires you most whilst studying at the University of Bristol Law? 

‘What inspired me the most during my year at Bristol was the people I was surrounded by, members of the academic staff as well as fellow students. Discussions with them allowed me to feel their passion and conviction about things and being motivated and challenged by it.’ 

What advice would you give to students about to start their journey into Law at Bristol?  

‘Studying at Bristol is a challenging and enriching experience! Studying what you love is extremely important and I would recommend to anyone starting at Bristol to make the most out of this opportunity and of the experiences this city and this university offer.’
