Projects and Partners
We participate in many projects that help people gain much-needed access to justice. Our projects are run in partnership with a diverse range of organisations and initiatives seeing us reach out to some of society's most vulnerable communities.
The aim of Community Law is to engage members of the public in discussions on the law and their rights through delivering presentations and workshops. The programme presents law students a valuable opportunity to develop their skills such as public speaking while also increasing public awareness of the law.
Our outreach work covers a diverse range of services from drop ins with organisation such as Clic Sargent and Bristol Drugs Project - to a tailored inquest service and support for individuals looking to representing themselves in court.
We have a number of established links with external organisations, ranging from charities serving the local community, Bristol County Court to many other advisory bodies. Often we become an extension of their team, providing legal advice to support the complementary services they provide.
