CLIC Sargent is a charity which supports young cancer patients and their families after diagnosis by providing a specialist package of support tailored to each individual. They also offer support to bereaved families and promise to limit the damage cancer causes beyond the health effects.
The Law Clinic provides weekly drop-in sessions at CLIC where parents of young cancer patients are able to come along and seek free legal advice about issues, they may be facing during their child’s treatment cycle. These may include employment issues or problems with applying for benefits or housing. Our aim is to provide them with efficient legal support to try and ensure they have one less worry on their mind.
We run sessions at Sam’s House every Wednesday, please talk to your social worker to put you in touch with the Law Clinic or to send a referral on your behalf.
