Join members of the Law School for wine and nibbles to celebrate the formal launch of the new Centre for Law at Work.
The Centre will be opened by Professor Paddy Ireland (Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law) and Professor Mark Freedland (Emeritus Professor of Employment Law, University of Oxford).
The Centre for Law at Work establishes Bristol as a centre of excellence in the study of law at work. Supported by world-leading academics, the Centre embraces a wide range of methodological approaches and a collaborative research and teaching environment.
The launch follows the Centre's workshop Criminality at Work, its first major scholarly project on the interface between criminal law and the regulation of work.
