A job description and advert has come in from a department looking for a new IT Officer.
John searches the recruitment database and that there are ten listed who, in the last 6 months, had been interviewed for similar posts, were recorded as being “employable” but who had narrowly lost out to successful candidates. Six of the ten had given permission to be contacted in the event of similar posts arising.
John sends a email with the vacancy url so the six can review the new opportunity. By the end of the day, replies from four have been received. The department reviews the replies and invites two applicants to a video-interview via Skype.
