Focus Groups

Introduction

Information Services (IS) is in the process of reviewing the University's strategies for providing IT, systems and support.  We are keen that we consult as widely as possible with staff and students, from every part of the University.

Where should IS be focusing its resources and efforts for the next 5 years?

As part of a wider consultation to find out what people in the University would like to see provided, we are running a series of Focus Groups on the dates below.

The Focus Groups are limited to 10 people and we aim to select samples that represent various faculties and interest groups.

If you would like to attend a Focus Group and lunch, send an email to bris-ss-events@bristol.ac.uk stating:

Please express your interest in attending by the date in the 'Apply by' column and we will reply within two days of that to let you know whether or not we can offer you a place.

Questions

1) What kind of things do your staff and students use ICT for at present?

2) What would help you get more out of ICT?

3) If you had to choose today, which one or two things would be of most benefit to you?

4) Think ahead about 5 years to how people in your department might be working and studying then. What new or different things might they want to do with ICT?
