Recent email phishing attempt sent to staff

We are aware that a number of staff have received emails similar to the message below.

Please note this is not from the University and is an attempt to steal your username and password by directing you to a webpage designed to look like our Single Sign ON page. 

Please be vigilant and check the address of email senders (but beware that this can be faked) and also the url of any page to ensure it is a legitimate University web pag.

If you are directed to a Single Sign ON page check the address of this web page. It should begin with: https://sso.bris.ac.uk/sso/. If it does not — do not continue!
