ResNet Inclusive Launched

The ResNet service, providing internet access in halls of residence, is now a standard feature of the accommodation package at the University of Bristol rather than an additional paid for service.

It's hard to imagine  that when Bristol first started providing internet access in halls over 10 years ago, access was something that not all students wanted and so it was set up as a separate service.

This change recognises the fact that access to the internet is now an essential, and expected, service in University accommodation.  As well as wired access to the internet the ResNet service also provides wireless access across almost all of our residential facilities.
